On May 9, 2008, the Board of Directors of Sonus Networks, Inc. (the “Registrant”) appointed Wayne Pastore as the Registrant’s principal accounting officer effective May 19, 2008. Mr. Pastore will serve as Vice President, Finance and Corporate Controller of the Registrant, replacing Paul K. McDermott who will be leaving the Registrant.
Mr. Pastore, age 43, has been Director, Business Process Improvement of the Registrant since February 2008. From September 2006 to February 2008, Mr. Pastore was Director of Financial Planning and Analysis of Sycamore Networks, Inc., an optical switching company. From December 2003 to September 2006, he was Corporate Controller of Spotfire, Inc, a business analytics software company. Mr. Pastore is a licensed certified public accountant and holds a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.
